Arsenal haven't won in four games and West Brom are more than capable of making it an interesting afternoon

Paul Scharner will make his final Albion appearance, while Peter Odemwingie (leg) and winger Jerome Thomas (illness) are doubtful.

Recent slip ups from Arsenal and the fact that it is Roy Hodgson's last match in charge of West Brom before he takes over as the England manager means there's plenty to play for at The Hawthorns.

Arsenal know they are guaranteed third place and automatic Champions League entry if they win, but there's little margin for error with Tottenham just a point behind and Newcastle two points back. 

Arsenal could have wrapped things up before now but last week's draw at home to Norwich was nearly very costly. It is their good fortune that neither Spurs or Newcastle were able to win and leapfrog them in the table. Arsenal struggled to cope with Norwich's lively attacking play and didn't seem as sharp or switched on as expected, in the first half in particular. Albion have lost nine games at home this season - only the bottom three have a worse record - but their recent home form is good. Hodgson's side have only lost one of the last half dozen at The Hawthorns, and that was to Newcastle. They've been hard to break down lately too, with Ben Foster keeping four clean sheets in the last six games.
